getaway

a short 2D1N holiday in batam,

the ferry took around 1hour? (heck, that is half the time i travel to np)

the seaview wasn't very spectacular, so didn't took much photos.

ok the fact is, i was so tired i slept throughout the journey.

Taken on bus series

over at the rural part of batam(?)

most lived in the wooden plank house that looks as if they were manually built.

and some of the house weren't even enclosed, (3 walls instead of 4)

peaking inside, theres television, wooden chairs if they could afford, and nothing else. ;o

(this the part i go thank you mr lee kuan yew)

the more well-off one had brick houses.

and the really wealthy ones lived in bungalow comparable/surpassing singapore's.

oh, and they are a religious bunch of people.

their mosques looks so much better than their houses.

i think more than half of the vehicles there are motorcycles. ;o

Its-hotter-than-Singapore & feed-the-mosquitoes series

had batam's speciality- seafood for lunch.

it sucks.

& the tour includes shopping.

the shopping center looks like far east, and the prices are similar to it too.

so much for cheap deals at batam ._.

Omg-i-wna live here series

2 bedrooms suite. sweet!

and the hotel's service really beats singapore's

its a full moon night,

2nd round of seafood, its better than the one we had for lunch,

but i still prefer singapore's. ;/

limited varieties.

and guess what, i saw 3 of my primary sch teachers eating right at the table beside mine!

the world is so small.

isn't it amazing, its a scene of sky and sea together,

never fails to make me feel so measly in this universe.

the journey was bout 1 hour,

so i decided to let my usually leashed mind explore.

how does a single droplet of water in the sea makes a difference?

how does a single person in this universe makes a difference?

if water is life, then what is the nature of water? what is the nature of mankind?

are we sharing the same life as water?

do we fall as a droplet into this sea, move together with the wave, experience the high and low wave, eventually evaporate, and fall again as another droplet?

is it possible for the sea to ever dry out?

is it possible for mankind to ever wipe out?
